What Are You Planting Today?

You know that feeling that something in your life is ready to shift, but you’re not sure what to do with it yet?

It’s more important than you think.

It can feel like internal pressure. Uncomfortable. Easy to dismiss or push aside.

But that feeling is often the fertile ground of change.

So the question becomes:

What do you want to plant in that fertile ground?

Not Everything Needs to Be Figured Out First

What we plant today won’t produce fruit right away.

It takes time.
Care.
Trust.

And a willingness to begin before everything feels clear.

Not everything needs to be fully figured out before you start.

Sometimes it’s just about choosing a seed…
and being willing to tend to it.

What feels ready to be planted in your life right now?

Planting Is One Thing. Tending Is Another.

The next step, of course, is being willing to tend to what you’ve planted.

And this is where things get more layered.

Creating healthier habits and actually following through isn’t just about knowing what to do.

There are a lot of pieces that matter:

Self-awareness.
Deeper motivations.
Aligning with your values.
Identity shifts.

All of it plays a role.

But the piece that keeps standing out to me—again and again—is self-trust.

The Role of Self-Trust

I am, by no means, in perfect health.

And self-trust, especially when it comes to taking action and following through, is something I’ve been working on, and will probably continue to work on forever.

But I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this is one of the areas I find myself going deepest on with the people I coach.

Because it shifts things.

Self-trust is a sense of being able to stay with yourself.
When you say you’re going to do something and follow through.

And when you don’t, being able to remain in relationship with yourself instead of collapsing into judgment or shutting down.

It’s a kind of deep knowing that whether something goes right or wrong, you’re going to be okay.

That you can be with the win when it comes…
and learn from the lesson when it doesn’t.

When Life Feels Full

That’s not always easy to hold onto.
Especially when old patterns get activated.
Or when life feels full.

People often say they’re looking for accountability.
And that can be helpful.

But more often, what actually shifts things is having the space and support to rebuild and maintain self-trust.

To learn how to return to yourself, again and again, in the middle of real life.

So I’ll leave you with this:

What are you planting right now?
And are you willing to tend to it… even before you see the results?

If You Want to Go Deeper
This is the kind of work I explore more fully on my podcast and in my emails.

It’s where I share the layers behind behavior change…
what’s happening beneath the surface…
and how to build self-trust in a way that actually fits your life.

If that feels like something you want more of, I invite you to subscribe to the podcast on your preferred platform and to join my email list by clicking here.
